Operations Audit

why you Need An oPerations Audit…

There are many reasons why you may want to get an audit. Not bringing in the revenue you were hoping for? Noticing patterns in employee retention and productivity? Just that owner’s gut feeling that something is missing?

An audit is the best place to start! I’ll spend time with your organization get into the nitty-gritty of your operations and process and make recommendations for upgrading them to the next level!

One of the best ways to get a big-picture look at your operational health is through an audit!

This is an easy process that takes about 10 hours total and looks at 6 key areas of your business:

  • Financial Steadiness

  • Operational Excellence

  • Growth and Development

  • Product Creation/Refinement

  • Visibility

  • Customer/Client Experience

How it Works

How it Works •

Over the course of just a couple of weeks, Ignacio Arts Consulting will get to work to elevate your organization and take it to the next level! Most audits take about 10 hours of work, broken up into sessions to allow for prep, interview, and reporting time.

The audit focuses on 5 categories (listed in no particular order): Financial Steadiness, Visibility, Client/Customer Experience, Team Growth/Culture, and Operations Management. We will present a big-picture idea of where your company currently stands in each category, and provide an idea of how to move into the next phase of business.

1 | Before the Audit

I will meet with any upper management/board members/owners to establish specific goals and objectives for the scope of the audit. These can include any areas you’d like to see an improvement in, and new areas that can be developed.

This is meant to be a collaborative process, and this is the first crucial step.

2 | During the Audit

The next step of the process is the bulk of the audit. I will need to spend time within the organization. I will speak with management, employees, even contractors who have regular involvement in the goal areas. If your organization is a non-profit, we'll talk with volunteers and participants as well.

These interviews help map out the current workflow and processes, and allow us to get a sense of the day-to-day and long-term operations.

3 | after the Audit

I will prepare a summary and detailed report that will lay out any findings (positive or otherwise) about the current standing of operational workflows and systems. We will also be able to discuss any proposed changes to help reach the goals and objectives clarified at the start of the process.

4 | Next Step

These audits are focused around moving your company forward and we understand implementation of changes can seem daunting, especially with multiple goal areas.

I can remain on the team after the audit is complete to help implement any changes and train managers and staff to any new systems and processes.
